Healthcare in Barbados
We are in proximity (minutes away) to Rose Gate Medical Centre and David Thompson Health and Social Services Complex. We all plan to be healthy but what happens when you are far from home and need reliable medical care? In Barbados, high standard healthcare services are easy to find. There are two main hospitals on the island, medical centers, well-equipped private and public clinics, medical laboratories, pharmacies, and many doctors to choose from.
Full medical services are available at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (40 minutes away). The 600 bed Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) is run by the government and offers emergency services as well as specialists in pediatrics, obstetrics, radiology and psychiatry. Mental Health Services
We are also minutes away from the Substance Abuse Foundation Treatment Center. In addition to substance abuse services the center also provides services for grief, emotional stress, and crisis intervention.
